Not participating in a winter sport? Need something to do in November and December? Clinton Middle School Polar Bear Club is up and running. It is designed for students in grades 5-8 to get outside and exercise in the cool temperatures. After the first week of club meetings, 41 runners have joined so far. Students are still encouraged and welcome to join at any point. Any middle school student would need a physical on file before participation. A typical day consists of warming up, stretching, destination jog/game, and cool down followed by hot chocolate and cookies to wrap up the session. The club meets in Mrs. Roesch’s room on designated days from 3:15-4:30. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if your son or daughter is interested in joining the Polar Bear Club.
