Clinton High School
MS Girls Volleyball PinkOut Game a HUGE success!
The Clinton 7th grade girls volleyball team ended their season by losing a close match to the Aggies of Sand Creek on Mon., 10/16 scores of 25-15, 19-25, and 22-25. Top scoring on the night was put forth by Emma Fair with 9 pts (all aces); Breanna Ramos with 7 pts (6 aces); Riley Hack with 4 pts (3 aces); Noelle Riley and PJ Gregg with 3 pts each; Jadyn Rochowiak, Sydney Schuler, and Sophia Sheneman each contributed 2 pts; and rounding out the scoring was Brynn Frederick, Lexington Lawler, and Griffin Faulkner with 1 pt a piece. In the meantime, the teams combined to raise over $500.00 for Braylon Griggs, a 7th grade CMS student who is battling cancer. “I am so proud of ALL of these girls for their hard work in helping out their fellow classmate! It says a lot about their character to play a hard fought game yet keeping perspective about putting others before themselves,” said Coach Ginny Krauss.
“We are also so pleased with all of the fans from Clinton AND Sand Creek for their support in our endeavors. I heard that the donations coming in were from many kind-hearted fans from both sides of the court. Hearing that really warms my heart,” she added.
The girls finished up the season with a 9-3 record.
