Clinton Varsity hosted Britton-Deerfield for a home TCC match up double header. Clinton won both sets. The first set was won in 5 games 25-21, 23-25, 24-26, 25-17, 15-5. Then taking that momentum into the second match Clinton won in 3 sets. Scores were 26-24, 25-23, and 25-8.

Leading the team in kills tonight was Amanda Schaare with 29 kills and hitting percent at .311 as well as 1.5 blocks. Brianna Burton had 23 kills, .283 hitting percent, 2.5 blocks, and 13 serving points. Ali Elwart had 46 assists, 30 serving points, and 8 digs. Saydie Starnes had 13 kills and 16 serve receive passes. Kaitlyn Clegg had 28 assists, 9 kills, .286 hitting percent, 3.5 blocks, 11 digs, and 12 points. Rilee Szczesniak had 9 points, 36 digs, and 41 serve receive passes. Chloe Pike had 6 kills and 6 serve receive passes. Lindsey Burton had 9 kills, 6.5 blocks, .316 hitting percent, and 5 serve receive. Ally Schmidt had 15 digs, 17 points, and 22 serve receive passes. Breece Phillips had 13 digs, 11 points, and 9 serve receive passes. Tessia Struck had 3 digs, 11 points, and 5 serve receive points.

It was a great night to show how we could come together as a team and push ourselves to be better. Our team hitting percent tonight was .203 which was up from .121. Our team serving was 90.45% getting closer to our 93% goal.

Clinton is now 12-16-3 overall. They travel to Madison on Thursday for their TCC match up and well as traveling to Adrian High School for the County tournament on Saturday starting at 9 am.
