Game Recap

The Clinton 7th grade girls volleyball team was victorious Monday night (10/9) against a tough Patriot team from Britton-Deerfield, scores were 25-22, 21-25, and 25-13. Top scorers on the night were Emma Fair with 15 pts (10 aces); Mia Struck with 12 pts (8 aces); Breanna Ramos added 6 pts (all aces); Brynn Frederick with 5 pts (2 aces); Sophie Sheneman with 3 pts (all aces); Leanne Mercier with 2 pts (both aces); and rounding off the scoring was Ruby Sierer with 1 pt (ace). Other excellent performances on the night were from Ava Ormsby, Noelle Riley, Riley Hack, PJ Gregg, Jadyn Rochowiak, Ella Graves, Audrey Owen, Griffin Faulkner, and Aryiana Clark.
“Once again we dominated at the serve line which is crucial to victories like this one,” said Coach Ginny Krauss who also added, “We came from behind in game 1 to win which is a total team effort. As we wind down our season it is very important that these girls finally trust their teammates and help each other out.”
The girls are away at Madison on Wed., 10/11 and away at their final tournament on Sat., 10/14 at Sand Creek at 9am.
