Game Recap

The Clinton 8th Grade Girls’ Volleyball team beat the Britton-Deerfield Patriots in 3 sets on Monday, October 9 with scores of 25-10, 25-14, and 25-18. Mackenzie Brandvold was the leading scorer on the night. She recorded 10 points with 5 aces. Other scorers included Josilyne Schanz with 9 points (4 aces), Taylor Randolph with 7 points (5 aces), Ashlyn Schmidt with 7 points (6 aces), Payton Blaze with 6 points (4 aces), Madalynn Walden with 4 points (3 aces), Rachel Ureche with 3 points (1 ace), and Davia Welch with 2 points (2 aces). Mackenzie Brandvold played an exceptional game at the net. She recorded a block and numerous kills. Payton Blaze lit up the back court with her defense. She recovered many errant passes to keep the ball in play. The Redskins are 6-1 in the TCC and 15-1-2 overall. They travel to Adrian Madison on Wednesday, October 11 to face the Trojans. The Redskins host the Sand Creek Aggies for their final game of the season on Monday, October 16. The October 16th game is the annual Pink Out Game benefiting cancer research.
