Clinton High School
Manchester High School
Unfortunately, the Redskins’ season was ended by the Manchester Dutch this evening as they fell 5-0. Clinton dominated the first 5 minutes of play by moving the ball rapidly around the field. Sadly, once their coach made some changes, things started to fall apart a bit. Manchester got on the board with their first goal and just a minute and a half later, they put in their second. Clinton was able to hold them until halftime to try to regroup.
Second half started out much the same as the first. Clinton possessed very well and had some opportunities. About ten minutes into the half, Manchester was able to find the net again. With their third goal, they gained plenty of momentum and scored again 30 seconds later. Another nine minutes and the score was 5-0. Although there was plenty of time left, the Redskins were fought off by a strong Manchester defense and came up empty-handed.
The Redskins were very lucky to have had such a wonderful senior class this year and the program will sorely miss all of them next year. Thank you seniors for an enjoyable season! Go Redskins!
