The Clinton Redskin varsity boys track team competed in the Division 3 Regional track meet held at Whitmore Lake and the following performances were turned in. Qualifying for the MHSAA D3 State finals are Lucas Crumb in the 110 high hurdles and 300m hurdles and Liam Tapp in the shot put. Crumb was a Regional champion in the 300 hurdles (42.5) and second in the 110 hurdles (16.0) while Tapp was second in the shot put (39-0). Other Redskin athletes who won medals were Trevor Underwood 4th in the 100m (11.84) and 5th in the 200m (24.18), Gene Dudek 8th in the 800m (2:12), the 400m relay of Austin Popp, Colton Freeman, Noah DeShano and Underwood placed 6th (47.6), the 800m relay of Freeman, DeShano, Cooper Renaldi and Underwood was 4th (1:38.2), the 1600m relay team of Crumb, Renaldi, DeShano and Dudek placed 8th (3:48), the 3200m relay team of Tyler Szczepanski, Noah Smith, Zachary Matthews and Dudek 6th (9:00), Tapp placed 3rd in the discus with a seasons best 125-3 and Steven Posa with a season best also in the discus placed 6th (105-10). Dundee won the regional with 142 points. Clinton will compete at the TCC Championships on May 24th at Adrian-Madison High School.
