Game Recap

The Redskins traveled to Sand Creek to face the Aggies in their last game of the first time through the TCC. The Aggies were able to pull out the victory by the score of 48-47. “What a game!!! My girls played so hard tonight to earn a win, but fell just short. I’m so proud of them! We were diving on the floor, taking charges, getting to the rim and talking defensively. We just couldn’t come up with a loose ball in the final seconds of the game, as Sand Creek hit a shot with 3 seconds to go, to go up one, as we had the lead 47-46.” commented Coach Ramos. “The girls game out and played their hearts out tonight and as a coach that is what you want to see. The team, was obviously hurt by this lose, as they were totally invested in this game from start to finish. But we learn from it and move on, as we do not have time to dwell on it as we are on the road again (5th game in a row on the road) next Tuesday versus the #1 team in the league, Madison. I truly believe in this team and know that, as tough a loss this was, they will be ready to go to battle with Madison next week.” stated Coach Ramos. “The team left it on the floor tonight and like I said, when you decide to play this game there are only 2 outcomes, ones great and the other one is not so great. But we played the best game by far of the season tonight!! We need to bring that same relentless attitude and we will be fine.” The loss moves the teams overall record to 3-8 and the TCC 2-5.
