Game Recap

The Redskins played host to the undefeated, 8th-ranked Sand Creek Aggies on Thursday night. Clinton fought tough, but eventually fell, 69-52.

“We talked a lot about getting that ‘attitude’ back…to play with that chip on our shoulder. I thought we took a big step in the right direction tonight,” coach Jordan Kelly said.

Danny Spence had a great night with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Keegan Degner had a big 2nd half, scoring all 12 of his points after the break. Riley Jacobs had 5 assists and Trevyr Curtis added 4 assists.

“We played okay defensively, but we didn’t box out well. They got too many second chance looks and they capitalized, especially in the third. The third quarter has been a struggle for us all year. We just can’t seem to carry momentum over. We’ll get there, though,” Coach Kelly added.

Clinton will play at home against Madison on Tuesday night.

Overall: 2-7 (TCC: 1-4)
