Meet Recap

The Clinton Redskin varsity boy’s track team competed at the Manchester Metrics Invitation on Friday May 13th and the following performances were turned in. Gene Dudek placed second in the 1600m run (4:53), the 400m relay team placed second (44.3) as did the 800m relay team (1:32.1) both relays consisting of Huntter Trubiano, Kenny DeShano, Noah Poore and Mathew Sexton, the 3200m relay team of Dudek, Noah Smith, Zachary Matthews and Christian Minard placed 5th, the freshman/sophomore relay team consisting of Trevor Underwood, Noah Comar, Lucas Crumb and Cooper Renaldi placed 6th, the distance medley relay team consisting of Matthews, Blake Rogers, Smith and Dudek placed 3rd, and the 1600m relay team of Dudek, Trubiano, Rogers and DeShano placed 2nd, Comar finished 4th in the pole vault, DeShano (4th), Riley Mclaughlin (5th) and Joe Spence (7th) finished 2nd in the shot put relay while Spence (3rd), Liam Tapp (9th) and Mclaughlin (10th) placed 1st in the discus relay and Noah Poore placed 1st in the long jump (19’7″). The team will now prepare for the MHSAA regional at Erie Mason High School on Friday May 20th in hopes for qualifying multiple athletes for the MHSAA State finals.
