Game Recap

The Clinton 8th Grade Girls’ Volleyball team lost a hard fought match to the Madison Trojans on Wednesday, October 11 with scores of 25-15, 21-25, and 21-25. Top server for the match was Madalynn Walden with 13 points (4 aces). Other scorers included Payton Blaze with 9 points (4 aces), Mackenzie Brandvold with 7 points (1 ace), Josilyn Schanz with 6 points, and Ashlyn Schmidt with 3 points. “The girls played exceptional volleyball the first set. They played offensively and set the ball up consistently. The second two sets were hard fought, but the girls had too many fundamental errors.” said Coach Gilson. The Redskins are 6-2 in the TCC and 15-2-2 overall. They travel to Sand Creek on Saturday, October 14 to play in the County Tournament, and host Sand Creek on Monday, October 16 for the annual Pink Out game.
