Meet Recap

The Clinton Middle School Boys’ track team placed 6th at the 2017 TCC Middle School meet at Morenci High School. Eric Briggs was third in the 1600m run and Samuel Hoffman was 14th. Fabian Ramirez was 8th in the 200m hurdles and Carter Keith was 15th. Nate Chavez was fourth in the 3200m run and Gabe Nelson finished sixth. In the shot put, Jack Voll was third and Brayden Randolph was fifth. Jacob Huddleston was 8th in the high jump, while Gavin Scott (10th) and Ridge Ahrens (11th) had good showings. AJ Baxter placed fourth in the pole vault and George Ames was 6th. Brennen Schnaidt was 9th in the long jump followed closely by Landis Gillman, who placed 10th. The team finished the season with a 4-3 record in the Tri-County Conference.
