Game Recap

The 7th grade girls volleyball team ended their season Monday night, Oct 17th with a loss to Madison, scores of 20-25, 25-14, and 25-16. The girls lost the first set of the match but rebounded to win the second set and attempted to win outright in the third game but fell short with very low serving opportunities and serve-receive errors. Top server on the evening was Payton Blaze with 15 points (14 aces); Taylor Randolph with 7 points; Ashlyn Schmidt with 4 points; Maddie Ormsby-Walden with 3 points; and Mackenzie Brandvold and Josilyne Schanz each with 1 point to round out the scoring. “I am proud of the girls efforts tonight and their perseverance to stay within themselves. Unfortunately we just came up a little short in the end. I will miss this team but look forward to seeing what volleyball will bring for them in the future,” said coach Ginny Krauss. The girls finish their season with a 9-1 record (8-2 over) in the TCC.
