Game Recap

CLINTON 7TH GRADE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TEAM FINISHES SECOND AT SAND CREEK TOURNAMENT!
At the Sand Creek Junior High Volleyball Invitational on Sat., 10/15, the 7th grade girls volleyball team came home with a second place trophy after losing a very close match to the Trojans of Madison. The Lady Skins won the first game of the match and then couldn’t hang on for the other two games. “It was a long day of volleyball for these girls and to come away with a second place trophy is just terrific. I am very proud of their efforts.” stated coach Ginny Krauss.
Offensively the girls struggled at the serve line through pool play but managed to rebound in the semis and finals, serving almost 70%. In pool play they lost to Madison but defeated Lenawee Christian and Summerfield. In bracket play they defeated Sand Creek to advance to the finals. Excellent offense was exhibited by all of the girls: Payton Blaze, Mackenzie Brandvold, Madalynn Ormsby-Walden, Ashlyn Schmidt, Jocilyne Schanz, Taylor Randolph, Rachel Ureche, and Elisa Vasilciuc.
