Game Recap

The Clinton 7th grade girls volleyball team defeated the Bobcats of Whiteford on Monday, 10/10, scores of 25-12, 25-5, and 25-15. The victory was a clear trail that followed the BLAZING serving of Payton Blaze who had 21 points, ALL ACES! Rachel Ureche added 15 points, ALL ACES! Other scores were turned in by Ashlyn Schmidt with 7 points; Maddie Ormsby-Walden had 5 points (4 aces); Mackenzie Brandvold with 3 points (all aces) and Taylor Randolph with 2 points. “As we head into the final games of the season I would just like to stress that I am so proud of these girls and how much they have improved over the last few weeks! Their service points are at an outstanding level (over 65% consistently!) and they work so well together as a team,” said a very happy Coach Ginny Krauss. The girls travel to Deerfield on Wednesday (10/12) and then to Sand Creek on Saturday for a tournament before the last game on Monday, 10/17 at home (Middle School Pink Out game).
