Game Recap

The Clinton 7th grade girls volleyball team had some redemption Wednesday night by defeating the Comets of Jonesville, 25-8, 25-15, and 25-7. Previously they had lost to Jonesville (their only loss this season). The Lady Skins dominated at the serve line going 66% and acquiring many more ace serves. Leading the way on service points was Payton Blaze with 13 pts., ALL aces. Josilyne Schanz had 12 points (9 aces). Ashlyn Schmidt added 6 points (5 aces); Madalynn Ormsby-Walden had 5 points (all aces); Rachel Ureche and Taylor Randolph each with 4 points and Mackenzie Brandvold with 3 points (all aces). “Our net play tonight was superb. The girls are getting a real feel for the court and their confidence is showing in their serves. I couldn’t ask for anything more.” The girls travel to Manchester Saturday for the Manchester Tournament. Then they are home Monday (10/9) vs. Whiteford at 4:30pm. GO SKINS!
